collision... you are literally a nightmare
^working collision
so let me tell yoo a story:when creating the collision for this model, it refused to work when placing it into UDK! now, i did the exact same steps as before for a model where it worked PERFECTLY!! i spent a long time re making the collison mesh in different ways, re exporting and experimentation and no luck!
i gave in and went to bed
tried again today, i recreated a mesh for the house then a separate mesh for the steps. and oh look! it worked
i think...think...it wasn't working originally because i hadn't named the UCX file with the same name as the mesh...not sure... but lets roll with that for now till it probably happens again ¬________¬

i was going to over lay all the upper decorations to the houses windows on the UV map so they would be one on top of the other. But i ended up just getting confused so decided it would be better to do all 3 separated.

re evaluation steps
somewhere along making the steps I must have deleted a face. i did try to get fancy making them by extruding htem from the house faces. i noticed later on this made a few triangles and totally messed up ma uv map O_o
i decided to remake my house with our extruding the steps. this took literally a minuet using the original as a template.
the steps are now three seperate meshes combine together to make one separate mesh from the house.

wasting time fixing shizz cus i'm a muppet
i wasn't happy that the bricks didn't align around the house because i hadn't arranged my uv map properly. so here ive edited it but it still wasn't lined up

I'd been trying to get my head around getting a slope into my village and spent ages trying to get it subtle. after being happy with it...i realized i put it in the wrong place...

added a rougher terrain to the field so it wasn't just flat
more subtle bumps to the farm land
decided to place the furthest building with the water tower behind it on a slight hill....this was a challenge!!! thought it would be more interesting for players to drive around
leaving the farm land with the hills on the left and the road will lead to the right
