a MAJOR blog update

so i did a good bit o work in uni and home the past few days with a few issues so i hadn't got around to updating my blog after lots of rage quitting :( i took plent of screen shots so here we go:

noooo!!! i have no luck! so the steps kind of just disappeared when i put them into UDK. i think this may have been because i had used planes and extruded them. 


i fixed the steps by creating them from a cube in maya and extruding it. i then had to do this for all the other meshes i had used this process for.

BROKEN STABLE!!!!! D: D: D:

so when i put the stable into udk when the player looks through the deleted face they see the sky box...instead of the inside of the building.

i searched for a solution to this but had no idea what i would be typing in to look for. 




i eneded up re-modeling the stable in maya so the edges had more depth to them

i did this by making on wall with the thickness i wanted it to be. then adding an edgeloop i extruded the new face to make the other walls. then the roof and floor are separate meshes.

this seemed to fix the issue in UDK.
